epic fail.

remember that to-do list from earlier this summer?

well, i made some progress on some of the projects and they continue to be on-going, but these two items?:

*work out at least five times a week
*eat healthier

EPIC. FAIL.

um, wanna know how many times i worked out this summer?

that would be a big, fat, ZERO. i can't even believe it...you know what they say, what's the most popular day to start an exercise regimen? tomorrow.

eating healthier? unless eating healthier means eating lots of deep-fried food and seconds of anything and everything, i failed miserably in this area. and, i'm starting to develop an extra chin as proof.

i really need to work on these two things because all summer long, i've gotten away with wearing my flowy, comfortable summer dresses and skirts with elastic waists, but most of my work clothes have those pesky little things called BUTTONS and ZIPPERS. and buying a new fall wardrobe is NOT in our budget. unforch.

so, i'm declaring a do-over on these two items. and i WILL achieve them.

starting tomorrow.

;)

  2. You can do it! And don't sweat it - summer IS for being lazy and overindulging :)

  6. I don't even fake that I'm gonna work out. I do try to eat healthier though.
I will say that once CB comes home, you'll lose weight and get some muscles...like overnight.

  8. I am so with you on this one. I am a master procrastinator when it comes to exercise! I need to get in a better routine but, like you, maybe tomorrow!! :)

  9. I'm so not into working out. The only reason I started running was so that I could leave the house *alone*!! And eating healthier... hmmm... I guess this bowl of ice cream sitting next to me at 11:40 in the morning would prove that I can't do that. (Hey, I'm having a bad day... what can I say?!)

  11. I agree with JoJo...once Choi boy comes home it will come off! I think my arms and core have gotten incredibly stronger carrying around a 20 pound child all day!

  12. How are all these moms losing weight when their little ones came home and I'm just barley maintaining? ( when I sooo need to lose ) It's too easy to just grab anything when your home all day. Ohhh, and don't feel bad. My mom and I started a weight lost contest at the beginning of the summer and lets just say...nobody won. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day. :)
