serenity now.

if i say thank you too many times, does it not mean as much? i hope not. because i want to say thank you again and again and again to all of you for your encouragement and prayers and hopes and wishes for us. i feel so truly blessed to have all of your support and love.

so,

merci beaucoup, muchas gracias, danke shoen, arigato, gahmsahamnida,

THANK YOU!

all of your sweet words brought peace and comfort and reminded us how far we *have* come.

and later that night, after having read caring comment after comment, i was sitting in a coffee shop with my family when one of my favorite praise songs began to play. as i listened to and remembered the lyrics, i was reminded of God's faithfulness and that as upsetting and hard as this news was, He knows what He's doing and all will work out as it's meant to.

what sweet peace these lyrics brought:

A refuge for the poor, a shelter from the storm
This is our God
He will wipe away your tears and return your wasted years
This is our God

and

A father to the orphan, a healer to the broken
This is our God
And he brings peace to our madness and comfort in our sadness
This is our God

serenity found.

  4. What great lyrics and perfect timing for you to hear them...so glad God is strengthening you during this waiting period...that 6.5-7 month point was the toughest for us during the wait.

But sometimes you do just have to let go to God and fate and the universe to be what is to be.
