goodbye, summer.

summer technically does not end until september 23, but isn't it amazing how the unoffical end to summer, labor day, seems so final?

school has started, pools are closed, the nights get a little chillier, the mornings are a little cooler and the sunrises a little later, and cute fall clothes make their grand entrance (loving those men's style oxford shoes and cowboy booties. and cardigans. LOVE cardigans. my dream is to own one in every color in every fabric. seriously. and they always remind me of good ol' mister rogers).

anyway.

i bid you an unofficial adieu, summer. it's been lovely and one to remember for sure. but, i welcome and embrace your neighbor, autumn, and look forward to this season being a new season of even lovelier memories.

because we hope that autumn will be the season that welcomes not only changes in leaves and harvest, but also a huge change in our family. choi boy, we hope to see you this fall, darling!
