eagle eyes.

thanks for all your sweet well wishes! the bug has moved on to the hubs now...and it's nas-TAY! i hope all of your families are staying healthy...anyone else totally itching for spring?!

remember when i mentioned how choi boy has a knack for spotting animals and characters wherever we are?

i wasn't kidding.

he finds them EVERYwhere.

seriously!

we were at a favorite local burger joint today and as we were waiting for our food to come out, choi boy pointed to the ground and excitedly shrieked, "KOH KEE RHEE!!!" {elephant in korean}

i told him he was being silly and that there weren't any elephants on the floor, but he persisted.

so i looked, and sure enough,

Photobucket
there *WAS* an elephant on the floor!

and then cb proceeded to give me a "told ya so, umma" look.

what a silly

{this is the last of the green cardigan pictures, i promise. ;)}

  3. if there is one thing I've learned as a mama, it's that when the boys say they see something, they mean it. I'm usually the slow one!

    Wishing that your hubs is feeling better soon!

  12. I agree...our boys show us things we never would see. Little D does this ALL the time...but usually involving vehicles. I say, "No, D...Mama doesn't see ____ (fill in the blank." But then...a few seconds later...I see what he sees. Eagle eyes and eagle ears too...go hand in hand!

    We've been WAY sick over here too (D had pneumonia last week and how my DH and I have a more mild version of his ick). SPRING...please come soon!

  13. Eagle eye is right! S is like that as well... but I'm usually behind the wheel driving and I just go with it. ;-)

    And, you know... I'd say creative over silly. That find takes an artistic eye!

    PS - I'm SO freaking done with the illness here. DONE I tell you!

  14. I totally see the elephant! Max does this too and I used to go "that's not a ____, you silly boy." But then I'd look and think "OMG, yes it is!" So I've learned to trust my little eagle eye too. These boys are amazing :)
