remember how i said it feels like it's the "choi boy show" all the time at our house? well, with cb's cheen hahl-muh-nee and hahl-ah-buh-jee {paternal grandparents} in town, it was like the "choi boy show" marathon all weekend long! the spectators, of course, were only happy to watch. ;)
we normally only see the hubs' parents once or twice a year, so we were so glad they could come out to meet and visit their grandson, even for a short visit. choi boy loved the extra attention and gladly charmed his way into his grandparents' hearts. it's so funny to see how such a little guy can literally command the attention of an entire room of grown-ups with a single word or smile or with just his presence alone! needless to say, grandma and grandpa choi were totally smitten.
here's what our weekend looked like...
some cuddle time (with piper sneaking in for some affection of her own):
stair climbing, of course:
g-pa helped choi boy practice going down the stairs backwards, too. and now he wants to do it super fast all.the.time!
munching on some strawberries post-nap:
look at that crazy bedhead and those squishy, sleepy cheeks!
sharing some strawberries with grandma:
finding grandpa's nose:
sharing a meal with both sets of grandparents (lucky choi boy!):
showing off his signs:
i love that choi boy's eyes always seem to be saying "more," too!
stealing some of grandma's food (it's only fair since he shared his strawberries, right?):
and more cuddle time:
choi boy is so blessed to have four amazing grandparents that love him to pieces...let the spoiling commence! ;)

So sweet! It's so wonderful to see loving family gather together!
ReplyDeleteAwe, so special. Both of the grandparents are just darling! Isn't such a joy to see your child with their granparents?? It's like the kids just know from day one to love them, like they can just feel that they are extensions of you. And the best part is when they take them over night later on:) its a win-win all around!
ReplyDeleteWow~ Pete..I haven't seen your parents in almost 10 years and they look fantastic!!!! What a lucky boy CB is to have both sets of loving grandparents in his life. I foresee more visits from them in the future---they won't be able to stay away from CB!!!
ReplyDeletei mean is your mom 20? ridiculous how young you asians look! ps - choi boy kind of looks like your dad...super cute!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures, look like he had a great visit. We joke that the kids mean nothing anymore now that there is Parker!
ReplyDeleteoh and Parker does the "more" sign constantly, it is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteI love how in most of the pictures the grandparents aren't even looking at the camera, they are just staring adoringly at CB!!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to have all that grandma and grandpa love! That's great that he would go to them. Joel had a hard time going to grandparents for awhile and every time we see them again we have to reassure him they are not strangers again. It made it a bit hard for them to bond with him at first.
ReplyDeleteGrandparents are awesome, and I absolutely love seeing pictures of kids with their grandparents. Choi Boy is a lucky guy!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Warms my heart!
ReplyDeleteAwwww!! You can tell they are absolutely infatuated, as they should be. So sweet!
ReplyDeleteI was just about to say how lucky CB is to have those four awesome grandparents but then I realized that judging from the photos it sure looks like it's the grandparents who feel like the lucky ones. Cuz I mean how super cute is that grandson of theirs? Love these photos.
ReplyDeleteOh... CB's grandparents are obviously smitten with him! Looks like you all had a blast!
ReplyDeleteLove these pics!! Peter looks just like his dad, imo.
