we've talked a bit about choi boy's beloved betrothed before. the lovely and beautiful kate. she is just the cutest! since their first meeting, she and choi boy have developed the sweetest relationship. we've joked about their love for one another since cb came home, but their love is no joke.

seriously. they love hanging out and they interact with each other so much differently than they each do with other children. and it's amazing when you think about the fact that at their ages (21 months and 18 months), it's rare for children to truly interact *with* one another rather than just engaging in parallel play --see? *meant to be*!!!

choi boy and kate play and hug (and sometimes even kiss!) and genuinely enjoy each other. and they laugh with one another like they share a big inside joke that nobody else gets. choi boy loves to make kate giggle and pulls out all his tricks to hear her sweet laughter. and sweet kate happily obliges and laughs at all of cb's silliness, like any good girlfriend would. :)

i'm not kidding. it's ridiculously adorable. and kate's daddy is probably rolling his eyes reading this, but her momma and i are already planning the wedding.

heehee.

let me share with you an example of cb's and kate's courtship. on a recent trip to the interactive fountains, kate was unsure of getting close to the water. choi boy, a seasoned expert in fountain adventures, decided to be a good boyfriend and show his lady the way.

he took her hand,

(a bit slyly, actually...at first, kate didn't know what was going on. sneak attack hand holding!)

and gently led her towards the water.


she still wasn't sure about the whole splashing, shooting water thing, so choi boy pointed and said, "it's okay, honey, look! it's fun!"


but kate wasn't entirely convinced. so cb, knowing his lady, decided not to push and twirled around her instead, saying, "may i have this dance then?"


and kate giggled at cb's silliness and they walked away, hand in hand, promising to venture into the fountains another day.
